We are praying for the victims of the earthquakes in Turkiye and Syria, and for those who are coming to their aid

Hello from Father Michael, Deacon Vince Barclay, Sister Kathleen Keenan and the Parish Office

The telephone line for the Presbytery isn't working
We apologise for the inconvenience, and we're expecting repair work to happen this week. Until the service is fixed, please contact the office by email if you can.

Ash Wednesday services on 22 February
Ash Wednesday is a day of fasting and abstinence from meat. Masses will be held at:
St John Vianney Church at 9.30am.
St Jude Church at 12.15pm.

The school children will be attending the Masses. Father Michael encourages us all to attend with the children, to show them our example of devotion at the start of Lent.

If we don't turn up, why would they?

Project Compassion boxes and envelopes will be available.

Father Michael will be on sabbatical from March to June
Father Michael will be away from 13 March to 13 June. Father Baiju Thomas MGL from Narrabundah Parish has very kindly agreed to stand in for Father Michael for most of our Masses. We are very grateful for his help.

Our Vigil and Sunday Masses will not change. However, there will be some changes to our weekday services:

Masses will be held on Wednesday and Thursday mornings at the usual times.

Deacon Vince Barclay will conduct Communion Services on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturday mornings at the usual Mass times.

The Holy Week and Easter liturgies will proceed as normal, thanks to Father Baiju.

A new Devotional book, Passion to Pentecost
Our parishioner, Raifiel Cyril, has written this Devotional, covering 100 days of reflections and prayers from the Sunday before Ash Wednesday to the feast of Pentecost.

Father Michael invites you to consider using the book as a companion on your faith journey. It costs $25 and you can obtain a copy by emailing Raifiel on cjralive@gmail.com
