We are continuing to pray for peace and reconciliation across the world

Hello from Father Michael, Deacon Vince, Sister Kathleen, Danielle and the Parish Office!

Father Michael will return this week

Father's first Mass will be on Thursday morning at St Jude church at 9.30am. The parish community offers its grateful thanks to all the priests who have shared Mass with us during Father's absence.

Father will bless the statue after the 8am Mass. Everyone is welcome to join in this wonderful event.

Introducing the Parish Video Prayer Circle

The Circle is a project in which parishioners get together after a weekday Mass and join in several prayers. We film the session and send the video to parishioners who are homebound or in care. The aim is to let them be back in the church and back with the community for a little while.

If you have a relative or friend who might be interested in trying the Circle, let them know and contact the office with their email address or mobile number. It's absolutely a no obligation trial!

Mark Ha will be ordained to the Diaconate on Friday, 3 November

Everyone is invited to celebrate this wonderful event at St Christopher's Cathedral at 5pm. RSVPs are required and there's an online facility on the Archdiocese website. Let's all pray for God's blessings on Mark and his family.

The St John Vianney School Fete will be on Saturday 4 November from 10am

Everyone's invited to share the fun of the Fete and support the school's future.

If you have toys, books or other items you'd like to donate to the fete, please leave them at the SJV school office on Mondays to Fridays, 9 - 4.30.

Sorry, but they can't accept electrical goods for safety reasons.

“The Sign” Advent and Christmas Reflections

The parish will be offering this publication from the Wollongong Diocese for $5. Order your copy through Qkr! or put $5 in an envelope, with your name and the church from which you want to collect it, and put the envelope into a collection bag.
