Welcome to the Parish Website. Our Churches may be closed but our Mass is still available.

Due to the extension of the lockdown our Churches will remain closed until further notice.

I have begun saying Mass and streaming it on You Tube. The Masses are available at 9.00am on Sunday and you can access them at any time after that.
To find them, go to You Tube and search for STJJV. The search will take you to our Parish channel, where you will find the latest Mass and my previous Masses. You can subscribe to the channel, which makes it easier to access future Masses.
As well as joining me for Mass, I encourage you to use your permitted exercise time to get out of your home and into the fresh air.
I also recommend joining in the Archbishop's Rosary prayers on Zoom: simply click on the link https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85022458332?pwd=MDZ4ODFhNjIvdnpFd21aVDQzWnAydz09
Or enter the details below after opening the Zoom app Meeting ID: 850 2245 8332 Passcode: 543675

And please keep praying for the end of the pandemic. A form of prayer that you might find useful is
O Mary, you always brighten our path as a sign of salvation and of hope.
We entrust ourselves to you, health of the Sick, who at the Cross, took part in Jesus’ pain while remaining steadfast in faith.
O loving Mother, you know what we need, and we are confident you will provide for us as at Cana in Galilee.
Intercede for us with your Son Jesus, the Divine Physician, for those who have fallen ill, for those who are vulnerable, and for those who have died.
Intercede also for those charged with protecting the health and safety of others and for those who are tending to the sick and seeking a cure.
Help us, O Mother of Divine Love, to conform to the will of the Father and to do as we are told by Jesus, who took upon himself our sufferings and carried our sorrows, so as to lead us, through the Cross, to the glory of the Resurrection.
Under thy protection we seek refuge, O Holy Mother of God.
In our needs, despise not our petitions, but deliver us always from all dangers, O glorious and blessed Virgin. Amen.
