The Magi have visited and the Lord has been baptised. Now let us follow Him on His mission!

Hello from Father Michael, Deacon Vince, Sister Kathleen and the Parish Office

We don't have to wait until we are perfect to bear witness to Jesus; our proclamation begins today, right where we live. And it does not begin by trying to convince others, but by witnessing every day to the beauty of the Love that has looked upon us and lifted us up.

Pope Francis, on Twitter

Vale Cardinal George Pell:  we acknowledge his death and pray that this faithful servant who followed the Lord with perseverance during many trials may be received into the joy of heaven and receive the reward of eternal peace.

Are you visiting for the holidays?

Welcome! It's our joy and privilege to share this time with you. We wish you a happy visit and safe return.

We have two churches in our parish:

St John Vianney Church, 87 Namatjira Drive, Waramanga

St Jude Church, 55 Mulley Street, Holder

You'll find our Mass and Reconciliation timetables to the right on this page.

Lenten Program 2023

Yes, even as the Magi return home the road to Easter is calling us!

This year, we will be using the Triumph programme created by the Diocese of Wollongong. The book costs $9 and is available using the Qkr! app.

If you prefer, please put the money and your name, a contact phone number and the parish church you wish to collect it from, in the collection bag at Mass on the weekend.

The cutoff date is 31 January so we can get the books delivered before Lent.

In your prayers ...

Please pray for all the faithful departed, and for peace in Ukraine and everywhere.
